Communications:
The key to any successful
waste management program is an effective communications program.
This can range from the development of eye-catching and understandable
promotion and education material, to clear and comprehensive training
programs for recycling program operators, to the public consultation
necessary for the implementation of waste management programs
in municipalities. Principals of RDC Group have worked extensively
in providing these services to a variety of public and private

Authority
Development of an "Operations Manual", a procedural
manual detailing health and safety and other requirements for
use by all employees in the governmental Material Recovery Facilities
in Puerto Rico (1999-2000).
Pronatura
Training of General Manager and the provision of educational
material to use in schools in Puerto Rico (1997, 2000).
Solid Waste Management
Authority
Training of MRF employees in job requirements and basic MRF operations
(1998).
Xerox Corporation
Development of a "Business Guide to Waste Reduction and Recycling",
a step-by-step procedural manual to guide untrained individuals
through the process of auditing a waste stream and developing
a waste reduction work plan. This manual was designed in both
hard copy and CD-Rom formats (1997-1998).

Facilitation of public consultation workshops for the development
of the 3Rs study (1996-1998).

Provision of all promotion and education material used in
