Communications:

The key to any successful waste management program is an effective communications program. This can range from the development of eye-catching and understandable promotion and education material, to clear and comprehensive training programs for recycling program operators, to the public consultation necessary for the implementation of waste management programs in municipalities. Principals of RDC Group have worked extensively in providing these services to a variety of public and private corporations alike. Selected examples are as follows:

Solid Waste Management Authority
Development of an "Operations Manual", a procedural manual detailing health and safety and other requirements for use by all employees in the governmental Material Recovery Facilities in Puerto Rico (1999-2000).

Pronatura
Training of General Manager and the provision of educational material to use in schools in Puerto Rico (1997, 2000).

Solid Waste Management Authority
Training of MRF employees in job requirements and basic MRF operations (1998).

Xerox Corporation

Joint Waste Diversion Strategy Study
Facilitation of public consultation workshops for the development of the 3Rs study (1996-1998).
